wow.. i was reading my blog and noticed its really been that long since i wrote somethin here..

Life have been a roller coaster ride for the past 2 years.. me changing depts, from here to there then there and back here.. haha

Went to bkk last cny, taipei last oct and guess what, tomor we are gg to bkk again.. :) time pass really fast..

I rem i blog abt life at 40 and wat now, me gonna be 42 this coming april.. wow..

Will be taking over a br soon, and this kinda gave me the courage and motivation to do well in my job and most importantly help my gals perform better..

Ellie and Elicia have both grown up and am happy to say they are doing well in their studies as well..

Well, hope this coming yr would be a great year for everyone..

Tomor no work cos holiday but me still in office cos waiting for DC to finish. He waitin for customer to come to settle some paperwork, hopw he manage to close somethin as well..

After the kayaking course, i kinda of like miss the sun and the beach.. This sat me gg for dragonboat practice and if i like it, i may join them for good..

My life (39 years and 364 days) have just passed by like 一眨眼.. and i will turn 40 tomor.. Pple says "Life starts at 40" and tomor shall be the first day of my new journey..

I wish to express my gratitute to ….

my sisters.... who took time out from their busy schedule to meet up and have a simple lunch to catch up on each other's birthday..

my ** friend…. thanks for allowing me to see myself clearer, to reflect on myself more in order to be a better person, and to follow the dharma more closely. though you have hurt me deeply, but i still want to thank you for those wonderful memories you have given me when we were together

my family…. for supporting me when i was in depression and going thru the difficult times

my friends….for lending me their listening ears whenever i broke down and giving me encouragement and words of comfort.. with special mention to Jas..

a few others… for excusing and understood me when i did things which i shouldn’t when i was out of control of my emotions

Was reading a book i borrowered from the library the other day, its the chicken soup for the soul and in particular about the christian soul. Lots of inspirational stories about faith and miricles happening. Very interesting..

Guess for all religon, their stories are full of mystery and inspiring that can calm the heart...

Dinner at Linda's Place

Linda always invite us to her place during CNY. This is she decided to ask ah boon to coked instead so no more steamboat dinner. Ah Boon is a great cooked, elicia and i especially love the slice fice with ginger and scallion in wine sauce.. yummy

Had a party at Marriot the other day.. Tot the service wasnt that great.. wasnt even served drinks just bcos we didnt asked, hmm.. dun they normally chek wat drinks we want and banquet dinners ? anyway, food was cold, esp the deep fried scallop with breadcrumbs.. and yes, dun u feel its a norm that office dinners during CNY always comes with yu sheng.. well, that nite, everyone was tossing yu sheng until i tink half or at least a qtr were all

over the table.. so sayang le, yu sheng is my favourite... :(

Later, we went for drinks at Bar None and i won a bottle of champaign during lucky draw.. that's a good start, hopefully there will be more luck for me this year..

Its CNY again...

CNY reunion dinner at the Lim's family is always a grand affair.. with lots of pple involved.. all the Lao Chek and Lao Sim.. cousins, children etc... all in all, wait i count ah.. total 44 persons..

No wonder Ah Ma said this year we bought 250 fishballs... not counting other ingredients like fish, prawns, pork, veg, pork liver, etc etc etc... all cooking in 4 steamboat at the sametime.. Very scary le..

After dinner, i cha bok back to my place to avoid all the commotion, noise, mah jong clanking noise..

This CNY make me miss my parents, they have passed away for a couple of years oredi but dunno why this year in particular i missed them.. missing the chicken my mum will cook, missing the CY songs my father will play on the first day of CNY... Went Chinatown the other day and bought a wax duck drumstick.. a delicacy my mum will buy during CNY for my "Yee Ma" and my father, she will steamed them with "chi gu" which cantonese liked all along..

Not sure how is my yee ma, didnt kept in touch with her since she went back to china during my secondary school days.. Wonder if she ever knew my parents are not around..

Our Own Party At Home

We used to take turns to organise xmas party, this year i volunteered to have it in my place. Everyone got to bring something and ellie chose to make jelly, elicia and her sandwich and me with the finger food.

Linda brought the most, glutinous rice, curry and fried bee hoon and of cos Celia's bergadil.

And wat would be a party be without log cake ? well, that was taken care of by Lee Hwa...

The silly me mistaken the budget for the gifts were $20 instead of $50 and so... sorry folks, will make it up in other way and soon..

THe kids couldnt wait to received the gifts and the fun part wold be opening them up. I got bags from both Linda and Lee Hwa. The children all got toys, handicraft sets and clothings from aunty.

To make the party more interesting, we had a lucky draw with Linda, Anna and Lim Khuan getting all the 3 prizes.

The party lasted till 8 plus while the guest took their leaves. Am glad this was fun, CNY is g to be at Linda's place.... And am already looking forward to it.

Our gift exchange thingy.. we got to draw lots to buy another colleague a gift of his or her choice.. I asked for a blusher and tar dah.. Henry picked me and i must say he actually bought me something above the set buget.. Thanks Henry..

Jovian had done a great job organising the party.. lots of food.. yup got to agree cos i brought back the leftovers and had been having fried rice for a couple of days until ellie went into strike.. Elicia loved them though with the curry gravy..

But of cos, there will be prize giving.. Sharon and Timothy got to share their "winning" stories with us, Nancy and Salmi also got vouchers as appreciation for being outstanding..

That day we tried making this.. This version is slightly different from the one we normally ate from the hawker stall.. The hawker version are roll out a flat sheet of dough then tear into smaller bite size and dropped it in boilding water to blanch them then add into stock with veggies etc.

See out version which we cooked sliced pork, veggies with stock(cooked with ikan bilis) and pour the mixed batter by the side of the wok and covered it to cook.. after that, either scope the batter up if cooking a lot or the battar will cooked and fell off the wok into the stock.. Strange right, watch the video and u will know wat i meant..

Dinner and Dance 2007

My branch decided to adopt the "beach wear" theme.. All of us are to wear our roadshow t-shirt and accompanied by beach shorts, skirts, bermudas and pair it off with loafers, slippers etc..

It was a excitin for us cos this is the first time we are all going as a branch.. Some of my colleagues are all reasy and were there at the Suntec Convention Hall early so as to "choop" a better table for all of us..

By the time we closed branch and luckily we managed to catch a cab but was caught in a jam around the suntec area.. After registration, and wen we found the rest, the first dish have already been served.. There were 4 more colleagues from Finance dept sharing the table with us while the rest of our sales team were seated on another table..

I didnt win any lucky draw but glad Salmi did.. Anyway, it was enjoyable nite with all my frens with me..

My MoonCake Making Session

Finally tried making the snow skin mooncake.. a bit blur.. reading the recipe and hands on at the sametime.. but we had fun.. Ting and Qi made funny, out of shape and different size mooncake.. We laughed at each others mooncake and Ting laughed till she roll on the kitchen floor..

Well, am glad i had bonding time like this with the girls.. They are growing and sooner they wont have time for me anymore..

Even nowadays when i want to catch a movie i like, i pratically have to beg them to go with me.. and they usually wont claiming my taste for movie is so different from them.. They prefer horror movie while me the romantic ones of cos... :)

Here's a pic of the ingredients i used.. I bought white lotus paste and i had added some toasted melon seeds to the paste.. Wanted to make pink snowskin with red been and green pandan flavoured with white lotus seed paste.. hmm.. a bit ambitious i thought..

But after sharing i received mixed feedbacks, some saud the skin is too thick which i agreed..will try to improve on that.. and am also glad some liked it.. Yeah... Will try to fine tune it when i try the red bean mooncake next.. Stay tune..

Was told by ah boy that day his grand uncle passed on.. went to the wake and he told me while packing his late uncle's belonging they found this album.. i asked to take a look and while flipping thru the old picture i saw this and my jaw go 'urgh'...

Its a wedding pic of hid parents.. and i was there lor.. so funny.. didnt know why i so daring follow these strangers to the studio to take the weddin pic.. yee.. i look so ku ku..

Dun know why nowadays like to make this make that.. Always think of wat to cook wat new dishes to try..

That nite went to bake a chocolate cake out of impulse.. end up not bad, fluffy and soft but den hor.. the taste like abit weird weird le.. so i gave out to the neighbours to help me finished and i keep the 头头尾尾 for myself.. keep until the next day, didnt felt like eating it for breakfast, left it on the stove for princess to eat if they come over in the afternoon.. but too bad, came back home, the whole brown lot still sitting on the stove just like the way i left them in the morning and so i send them dowm in to the bin.. a bit sayang la but really dun feel like eating them..

Sigh.. wait die liao must go to 十八层地狱 for wasting food.. :((

Back to my moon cake expedition.. went to check out the recipes in the net.. downloaded 2 but havent got time to 研究 the ingredients.. think i will make this weekend if i can.. but havent got any assistance who want to help out yet.. hee hee.. got the hint anyone ??

If i succeeed then i want to make and give out for mid autum festival.. like my cookies during cny.. give aunty, candy, jasmine, my vcy gang, and all those who love me..

无招牌 at Vivo

My pc is damm slow these few days.. wonder wats wrong with it.. waited for ages before i can upload pics, export pics... am about makan again.. haha

Hmm.. seems like its Vivo again.. Work Vivo, eat Vivo and breath Vivo..

Anyway, this is the first time i tried this restaurant in Vivo, i have been to the one in Kallang quite sometime back..

Met my frens after work last friday, sorry i made them waited for me for quite a while.. 无招牌 is on the 3rd level of Vivo City.. Location wise is quite easily access.. Ambience not bad too.. felt like wedding banquet though..

Each of us chose a dish, i chose brocolli with scallop, someone chose black pepper crab and steamed 金目卢..

My frens somehow like filly fair ley gobble up the food den sit

and watch me eat with dainty fingers.. slowly peel off the shell etc.. i think they cannot tahan me.. The pepper crab dun look like the kind we see from the "zi cha" stall where we can find black pepper bits cooked with the crabs.. This dish was cooked more like the ginger and scallions kind (姜葱).. I liked to licked off the black peppers bits from my crab but too bad this is doesnt have them.. :(

Steamed 金目卢 in soya sauce (港式) not as good as i wish it was.. a bit blend.. the fish wasnt sweet or tasty enuf.. but at least the soya sauce tased quite 鲜甜 so still can do lar.. but i wont order this the next time though..

Didnt get to see how much this dinner turned out to be.. Not sure if its worth trying again.. there's a new seafood rest opened just couple of days back near my branch, not much pple patronise yet.. but perhaps can try them out one of these days..

I am very fortunate recently, having somone who left me touching stories which i have been enjoying reading.. I recently asked him/her for permission to post it here for all to read and so here it is..

兩個國中的男孩和女孩交往時間不長，卻越玩大，發展到親密關係，兩個人在學校天天見面，有時還因為前天又「做了」，而添加了一點曖昧的色彩。進展到那種程度，當然是一次又一次，次數多了，兩人自然就習慣了。當然，該來的還是要來，女孩懷了男孩的孩子，女孩他知道這個男孩不好，但她卻深深愛著這個男孩，所以，就算她知道若是告訴男孩他有孩子的事，兩個人就此分手的機率很大，就算她知道自己現在的能力無法分擔這樣的重任，她還是堅決生下這個孩子。在女孩知道自己懷孕之後的幾天，男孩一如往常的跟她約在學校某地方見面。不一樣的是，他們兩之間多了一個「人」。

「昨天晚上還好吧？！你沒被罵吧？！」「....」女孩搖搖頭。男孩開始自顧自的講起來：「昨天我回去的時候，我媽看到我就問我怎麼那麼晚，我就跟他說我被拖去朋友家，哈！真是的，我媽到現在都還不知道我們的事呢.........」男孩看女孩都沈默不語。「....你怎麼了？難道你被罵了？還是.....」女孩開口說了：「我....決定要做的這件事，就算你不同意，我還是心意已定。」「有什麼事我會不答應？你以前不是要什麼有什麼嗎？難道你要分手？」「我，」你女孩吸了一口氣，認真的說：「我懷了你的孩子，我要生下他。」「！！」男孩說不出話。「我不會讓他成為你的牽絆，這是我為我愛的你做的最後一件事。」男孩的臉上只是一臉錯愕。可笑的是，正如女孩所想的，男孩在當天下午之後，就沒再跟女孩聯絡過了。女孩說過不會拿孩子牽絆他，所以她也不在追究，帶著她肚子裡那個小小的生命，繼續過她的學生生活。

女孩還是很愛那個男孩，在朋友的眼中，也是第一次看到女孩如此癡情的一面。朋友們很同情她，也罵她太傻，若是她偷偷拿掉小孩，不跟男孩提起的話，也許她還能享有最後一刻的幸福。因為才三四個月，在還不會太明顯的狀況下，女孩還是照常上課，他的媽媽拿了一些補品放在導師的辦公室，要他準時去吃。女孩為了小孩的健康，也為了自己的健康，每天很準時的去，有的時候走過樓梯轉角，兩個人還會碰面，但也只是互看一眼，完全沒有語言上的交流，女孩想試著用眼睛傳達他對男孩的思暮，男孩感受到了，卻又不回應，而女孩變的堅強，學會了不掉淚，即使這個男孩交了新的女朋友，女孩依然堅持不哭。

終於，肚子快大到並不是外套可以遮掩的時候，女孩辦了休學。大家都以為女孩是中輟，以後會再回來，但是卻在再也沒看到她了。而只有一個她最好的朋友知道原因。直到大家都要從三年級畢業了。畢業典禮那天，女孩的好朋友沒有出席，男孩什麼也不知道，他只知道「她消失了」而已。有時候男孩還會想著：「她會去拿掉嗎？」「她還好吧.. ..」之類的畢業典禮結束了。

畢業生們紛紛從校門口離去，很多人都哭了，男孩和他的朋友笑笑的走出畢業典禮會場，要從大門口離開，女孩的好友雖然沒出席畢業典禮，但還是穿著一身整齊的制服。女孩的好友看見男孩出來了，抓著已經一歲多的小孩的手，指著男孩，對小孩說「你看那邊，他就是你的爸爸唷！很帥喔.....」她越說越哽噎，眼淚也控制不住，一直溢出眼眶，男孩沒發現? 親骨肉就在他的身旁，就這樣離開了學校，離開了他的孩子。「這是我為我愛的你做的最後一件事。」男孩忘不了那個堅定卻又脆弱的眼神。其實男孩沒忘記過那個女孩。女孩過世了。

女孩早就有病在身，甚至已經到了末期，她知道自己即將死去，她知道自己生了孩子會有危險，她還是堅決在死前為她最愛的人生這個孩子，女孩在懷孕第七個月就倒了，為了小孩的安全，醫院為女孩剖腹，讓她的孩子在保溫箱裡度過那不足的三個月，救了孩子，女孩卻走了。女孩的孩子順利活下去，而且是很健康的寶寶。女孩的遺書有兩封，一封給她的父母，另一封，不是給那個男孩，而是給她的好友。

「給爸媽：女兒不懂的珍惜自己的身體，真的很對不起，還留下了一個負擔，但那也我唯一留下的，他是我的牽掛，我無法安心死去，希望你們可以將他扶養長大，若可以..............」

「給我一生中唯一的知己VIVI：我知道自己很傻，但我已經快死了，讓我做這最後一件事有何不可呢？好遺憾，我沒辦法和大家一起畢業，一起走出校園，即使我那大大的肚子已經消去，我的身體卻不允許我下床走動，連離開那張床都困難，躺在病床的那段日子，我跟你談了很多，我唯一的心願，就是好好照顧我的小孩，我不奢望他能來看我，不過那也會成為我的遺憾，我感激的是，老天爺讓我知道我自己即將死亡的消息，我才能把握自己最後的機會去做我還沒做的事，我也沒什麼好怨天尤人的，比起那種突然出了意外而死連交代遺囑的機會都沒有的人，我覺得自己好太多太多了，至於孩子.. 若你不嫌棄。請替我照顧他，讓他知道他得爸爸是誰。你就扮演他媽媽吧...謝謝你，真的謝謝你......... .。」

Tim's Birthday

It was Tim's birthday last week.. A couple of us wanted to give him a surprise.. Jo bought the brownie cake and we hid it in the mobile room..

We waited till almost everyone was ready and out of no where, we saw a customer sat down with him.. so we waited, and waited and waited. we got hungry so we made cup noodles.. we watch the 8.00pm chinese variaty show, then 9pm chinese show then until the 10pm news... Yawn..

Finally at around 10, left with Jo, Adeline, Harry and myself.. we almost wanted to give up.. finally wen Tim's was ready.. we just cut up the cake, ate it, packed the rest into the fridge and out of the branch in a jiffy 5 mins.. haha.. hope he didnt mind a bday celebration with just less than half the branch strength left.. anyway, Happy birthday, Tim..

Late Nite Shopping @ IMM

Was off from work yesterday, my monthly saturday off, decided to catch Harry Potter.. Asked Elicia and Suzie along, as usual we dilly dally until almost 1 when we hurried off to take the bust to JEC.. We booked the 1.15 show via internet foy your info..

Finished the show, on my way home, i dropped by my previous workplace.. I brought along Bubble Tea for Candy and Henry (from VCY) who happened to be on roadshow duty.. Saw boss, pretty as ever even during pregnancy.. Even she asked me why didnt i volunteered for this roadshow. I will boss, if next week is still JUR.

Went back had a shprt nap and by the time i got up its already 7 plus, Q and Tig wanted to go out, came jumping on my bed (they have their own keys to my place) and asked me to bring them out.. Where to go in JUR, all places also go until bored.. IMM they said.. OK..

Havent been walking around much after IMM have renovated, I took a turn and end up seeing this outdoor playground. Lots of parents were sitting around while their kids played. The playground had a wet and dry theme.. The wet park of cos had lots of children enjoying the splashing water coming from the tubes right above their heads.. Parents were smiling when the children laugh and ran around the park..

The dry park had swings and merry go round.. Qi said she want to come agin to play the next time but earlier.. We were there at around 8 plus..

Went down to the ground floor and while waiting to take pic with " Mickey " we bumped into Candy.. 为什么Candy要剪短头发?? Qi asked.. I answered you also cut your hair short, why ah ??

Anyway, we walked to the supermarket, and they ask to buy a lot of tidbits lor.. then, complaint hungry, we bought 2 pieces of waffle.. and Qi said the waffle very crispy and sweet, coz the auntie put alot of kaya, children liked all sweet sweet stuff..

By the time we reached home, 11 plus oredi.. Aiyoh.. my saturday like that gone liao.. but at least got to spend quality time with them.

How can i blog about Ah Qi and not her lei.. or else she will say i unfair.. Wait angry again.. She was a cute baby since young, but seeing her growing up can be "scary".. Making me feel reeeaaaalllllyyyyy old liao..

When she was young, aiyoh, tell you she is so 麻烦.. no no is SUPER 麻烦 !!!

She will not tell you what she want lor.. Just point and only once hor, i warn you.. If you didnt get what she wanted, she will speak only once, if you still dun get it then too bad.. Our 大公主 will face black black..

Seeing her grow into a young lady is such a wonderful thing, and yah growing up means the cost of birthday present also grow... I didnt get the X box she wanted, i got her a hp instead.. Will post the picture soon..

This is the hp i bought for her birthday, i was asking since i paid for this, can i borrow it for 1 month.. and obviously the answer is NO..

She is going to be in Secondary school next year, the last time i heard, she have already chosen which school she will be appling, lets hope she do well and get into the school with her frens.

Unlike her sister who will come over once she see me home, she will come over and use my PC, eat my tidbits and use my toilet..

Ah Qi - 坏人

Looking at her pictures sometimes make me wonder how times have passed. She have since grew up to a young girl and am particular fond of looking at her pictures as i think she is quite photogenic and i love her smile..

She have since cut her hair short before school starts in June but i still prefer her to have longer hair.. She is always thoughtful, especially when am home from work, she will always run across to my place and lie on my bed with me, ask me if i need her help to solve any "problems" i may have... and as a young child, sometimes their perspective of looking at things is so simple and straight to the point.. while we adult always think the complicated way.. always encouraging me and most importantly telling me what i did was right... :)

hong kong disneyland fireworks

Was in HK early June this year.. Saw the fireworks in Disneyland the nite i landed.. Kinda rushed thru dinner so i wouldnt miss this.. By almost 9pm, everyone have gathered on the street to get ready for the display..

Birthday "Party" !!!

It was Ellie's birthday last friday.. I took leave to be at home so once she is home from school, i can bring her out for dinner..

I asked her wat she wanted to eat and have for her birthday.. She told me anything la.. KFC?? Wat KFC again ?? Cannot take it man.. I said NO.. Suggested a lot of options for her, Jap food, Swensen, she say see how.. Next come the present question, our dear fren wanted X Box.. Cannot lar, so exp and exam coming soon and most importantly she dun know how to play and thus may not fully utilise the player.. So end up i bought her something i like.. I will blog abt it another day..

Back to the birthday, since i took leave, i went to meet Jas and Miss Lim over lunch, andy went out makaning with her mum and brother so i kept Miss Lim company while she tasted my century egg porriage which i made in the morning.. Havent seen her for a while and tot she seemed like she have lost some weight and have shrunk a bit.. but her hair is longer though..

Jas and i chatted over lunch upstairs while i ate my vegetarian beehoon, ahh.. missed JUR food quite abit..

and yah, just in case if brother gary is reading, Candy looked good in her uniform.. i will take a pic of "Mimi" in her uniform and put it up here one of these day..

Then i went to Ellie's school to pick her up, she complaint abt the hot weather, why she need to walk so far to take bus, blar blar blar.. By the time she reached my place, she was already exhausted.. She lied in front of the tv and guess wat ?? Fell asleep.... ai yo yo..

We waited, and waited and waited...

Ok, maybe i shall go ta pao the food, then we can eat together when am back.. She nodded and mumble something but i didnt bother..

Went to the Pasir Panjang food centre cos elicia said she wanted to eat La La.. a kind of shell seafood you need to suck to get the flesh out..

The food centre was damm hot lor, by the time i finished, my makeup melted, my hair smell lor..

Anyway, sleeping beauty was still sleeping when i reached home.. so we ate without the birthday girl.. no no.. with the birthday girl in the floor beside us.. haha

Elicia and i had fun "sucking" on the la la.. sometimes getting choke on the spicy gravy.. the smallest pack cost $5 and its sufficient for perhaps 3 person.. Its quite tasteful but sinful.. guess it must be full of cholesterol.. Elicia enjoyed it..

The BBQ sting ray cost $10 for a piece.. Elicia said its was very nice but a bit too spicy for her..

We intended to leave the mee rebus for ellie and we tried waking her up but she just refused.. Then i had this wonderful feeling, she finally will be sleeping over at my place.. but not in my room nor my bed but in the sitting room.. :((

By the time am ready to sleep, i placed a mattress beside her and she crawled onto it and slept thru the nite..Oh Yah.. still in her uniform...

She looked and smile at me the next morning while i was getting ready to go to work, we spoke and i heat up the mee rebus and we had dinner on the mattress.. our bonding time..

Wat a birthday celebration, no cake no present.. only mee rebus and me..

Breakfast at Ikea

Have always known Ikea have a cafeteria but have never tried eating there before.. I always finished my shopping with a Hot dog from the joint just outside the cash out area.. Always enjoyed squeezing ketchup, chilli sauce and mustard from the dispenser, make me felt like milking a cow.. hee hee

I have heard from friends that the cafeteria served good meatballs but cos it contain beef, so therefore i have not thought of trying and thus never ate at the cafeteria before.. partly of the crowd also la..

So after Elicia shared that the breakfast sets are economical and "有化".. I decided to try them this morning.. The cafe starts serving breafast from 8 to 10.0am daily.. with a few standard offer daily, the also have local delights that changes from day to day.. eg. Sunday its porriage, mee siam.. Tuesday will be mee rebus, wednesday fried bee hoon/mee etc.. and yah, heard the coffee is good here too.. and its refillable..

We found a table quite easily at 9.45am even thought the place is quite full.. The concept at the cafe is like a canteen where we join a queue, pick up a tray on the way and slide the tray along the railing and pick out the food we wanted.. they have sandwich, jelly ($1), beverages like milk, juices, salads, cakes and warm items like, curry puff, chicken pie, 春卷.. But i guess most people are going for the specialty Ikea served and so are we !!! Ellie and Elicia have already discussed what they wanted so they were quite patience at the queue...

One sight i saw and found the idea innovating and thus took a pic of it to share here.. You see, the french toast they made is not made in the kitchen, they uses the hot tray on the counter top which usually are used for keeping food hot to fry the french toast.. see pic.. The toast in here was actually at its "cooking" process..

We decided on the French toast set and mee siam to just try out.. and i saw they served "stuffed 油条 " wondering wat they meant stuffed ? is it like the cuttlefish paste stuffing like we used to have ? but during breakfast ? i can see they served porriage but stuffed 油条.. oh no the curiousity is just too much... i think i will try that ($0.70) .. I went for the coffee at $1.20 while they gals wanted only water... 省钱 they said...

Here's out "French Toast with Bake Beans and Sausage" set which cost $2.20.. Quite filling until now @3.00pm am still not hungry at all.. oh yah, forgot i took 1/4 of the 油条 and some Mee Siam... Shy shy..

The french toast are just right.. the bread is soft but not greasy and it has a tingh of sweetness.. and err.. i can taste it has magerine as well.. hee, those who know me knew i dun really like magerine and butter so i am quite sensitive to these 2.. but i ate them with the bake beans so am still quite ok with them..

Was quite clumsy with the tray and spilled the gravy of the mee siam, both gals shoke their heads looking at me.. but i cleaned up the plate before i took the pic.. sorry, played cheat..

Was wondering why they didnt provide lime cos i like mine sour.. later on my way out then i saw aiyah got lar.. i blind onli, maybe i was battling with the tray thats why missed it at the counter..

The Mee Siam ($1.50) came with half a half boiled egg, "a few" tau pok, "some" tau ge.. :p

The gravy wasnt spicy at all unless you stir in the chilli.. i tot my own mee siam tasted better (aiyoh.. no shy) but for $1.50 can lar.. i enjoyed it also.. Elicia said it was spicy and went off to get another glass of water (free) but i tot it was only an excuse to go "play" with the water dispenser..

The 油条 had a layer of fish paste on it not "in it".. Deep fried till crispy, but was quite hard to cut them.. a bit tough to the bite though..

After a full and satisfying meal, we had a walka round Ikea, wasnt that crowded yet, can see the cafe is fu;; agin, this time the meatballs lovers came to savour them over a lazy lunch on a sunday afternoon.. am glad i took them out for breakfast, a great time for bonding..

Am looking forward to have breakfast with Jas, Candy and Miss Lim as well.. Didnt have much chance after i moved to Vivo.. Hey gals, lets make a date one of these day where we can catch up again and hope it will be soon...

Farewell our colleague - Alvin Anand

From the time i joined Vivo Vity Branch till now.. Barely 9 months and most of my colleagues from the sales team have left the branch except for Hilary who have gone to another branch. Well, i wish all of them well..

Today is Alvin's last day with us, he is moving on to somewhere to continue with his career.. We have onli 1 Alvin in our branch until Alvin Toh joined us and to differentiate between the 2, Alvin Anand became Ah Nei to most of them cos his race is Indian.. But he is more like a chinese to us, speaking mandarin and all tat..

We decided to get him cuff links so he can remember us each time he uses them.. Thanks Jovian and Alvin Toh for taking the time to get them from Tangs on behalf of us..

We are gonna miss you brother.. and thanks for the burger u bought for us.. Take care..

My homecooked lunch today....

Sigh... Another day and didnt know what to bring for lunch.. Knew Jas always like soupy stuff so i tot why not make 西洋菜汤... I brought a bunch of 西洋菜 from the wet market for only 80 cents.. Imagine the cost if you order a bowl of the soup from the 煮炒 stall??? I decided to add 南杏北杏 which have the ability to 化痰 as Candy is having a bad cold till her voice have changed.. and instead of minced pork i bought 生鱼片 to add to the soup..

Didnt dare boil the veg for too long cos scare it will lose its crispness and i like my soup to be clear and not too cloudy so i only drop in the veggy when the soup is boiling and add the sliced fish only after i off the stove.. The heat from my corning ware is sufficient to cook the fish.. and moreover they will be heating up before they have it for lunch.

So i made a slightly spicy chicken dish to go with the clear soup.. I cut up 3 chicken drumstick into bite size and add sesame oil to season it while i mixed up the black pepper paste.. I left the chicken skin on for this dish as i like the "smothness" of the cooked chicken skin with the meat and the chicken skin can "trapped" the moisture sp the meat wont be too tough.. It's just like having Teriyaki Chicken without the chicken skin, it just wont be "right"..

This black pepper which comes in powder form from Maggi is very delicious.. no other seasoning is needed and the consistency of the sauce is just right for tossing in after the chicken is cooked. No need for fancy cooking, this sauce comes handly if you like myself who enjoy spicy food and especially like the feel of biting" on the black pepper bits..

I cooked white rice to go along with the spicy black pepper chicken and the clear watercrass soup to "cool" down a spicy meal.. havent checked with Miss Lim or Candy if they tasted alright.. Candy always sms me to feedback if the meals can be improved better and the nexttime when i cooked the same dish again, i will bear her suggestion in mind and perfect it..

So sweet of Celene, a pretty gal i knew when i worked in Jurong East Branch of HSBC.. She came to join us for a couple of months while waiting for her exams results.. Am glad she joined us cos we became good friend after that.. Brother, Celene and myself were on duty at the front desk and we had a good time joking and sharing all her "tidbits" for all those months...

After she left and i moved on to Vivo City Branch, we didnt get to meet up that often but whenever she meets her frens in Vivo, she will call me up for coffee or a chat in CoffeeBean or Starbucks..

So today, we met up for makan in BakerZin.. She then introduced me to Joe the manager in charge.. Nice gal.. Sweet of her to recommended some nice dessert to us.. Both of us have pasta.. mine was aglio olio spaghetti (spicy) which was pasta in olive oil with garlic and a great serving of ham and bacon while Celene went for "Spagetti with meatballs" which is in a spicy tomato based sauce.. http://www.bakerzin.com/pastas.asp

Mine tasted nice except for the seeds not being removed from the chilli padi that was tossed with my spagetti.. I am someone who enjoy spicy food and thus i do actually eat up the chilli that were served with my food as garnish.. I put that down in the feedback form (oops.. )

There's a promo that is going on whereby a Rum and Raisin Ice cream will be on the house if a main meal is order after 3pm or something (check out from Bakersin website please) and we got our ice cream.. Served in a small glass, slightly taller than a "shooter" glass.. Ice cream tasted just nice, not too sweet and had bits of raisins soaked with rum.. The 2 raisins on the ice cream as decoration tasted abit too strong with rum which i didnt really like it..

Then Joe recommended the Chocolate Cake.. A specialty of Bakerzin. She mentioned if we didnt try this , it is as good as not been to Bakerzin.. She insisted that we go for it and i tell you, i didnt regret it at all...

Its a small round chocolate cake topped with a semi egg shape vanilla ice cream with strawberries and raspberry by the side and yah.. strawberry sauce.. Once we spoon into the cake, a chocolate lava flow out from the cake.. hence, that explained why we need abt 10 to 15 mins for our order to be ready cos the cake need to go back into the oven to bake or warm up so the chocolate in it will melt and thus "flow" out.. Thanks Joe..

Guess what, i have never ever tried going to Mac for so many times over 2 days lor.. Here's how the story goes..

I was off from work yesterday so i went marketing.. Was thinking of making chee cheong fun (猪肠粉) again cos qi claimed i didnt make enuf last monday.. so off i went to market and ended up having big breakfast with ting for breakfast.. (Round 1)

Went home and cut up prawns, made the sauce for chee cheong fun, and of cos made the 猪肠粉..

and we enjoyed them over watching 肥田喜事 by 胡杏儿 and 许志安.. All thanks to Jas for passing them over for me to watch.. Thanks Jas..

Then got something to settle and went off to Clementi.. On my way back decided to drop by West Coast Park for a drink..

The park is for anyone who enjoys outdoor challenging and adventurous activities. There are a lot of toddlers to young adults and parents who brought their family out for a picnic or relax weekend..

I was telling myself must bring Qi and Ting to spend some quality time together.. So i saw there's a Mac there and went in to chill out, had a drink and fries... (Round 2)

After i reached home, do all the chores den the next thing i heard is, lets go for a car ride and since its a boring and lonesome saturday nite, decided to go with the idea.. and u know wat.. ended up in Science Centre's MAC.. Wah.. Power lor.. MAC again.. ok but this MAC is quite special..

The place brought back some memories for me... but thats beside the point.. So,

As i walked towards MAC i saw this guy sitting outside alone, i guess he must be a lonely guy with no where to go, no one to date on a Saturday nite but as i walked closer i can see he is smiling to himself and doesnt looked a teeny bit sad lor.. then i 偷偷 took a pic of him..

This guy lor.. So 搞笑 right.. Smile smile smile like duno wat so funny..

So i bo chap him and went into MAC and saw another guy lagi funny lor.. Sit on top of the exit duno for wat.. Luckily i also took a pic of him to show you all i never tell lies..

Science Centre at this hour is almost deserted oredi.. The MAC there also quite empty except for a few couples enjoying music at the open space area outside the rest.. got to know this outlet opens till 11pm unlike most MAC which open 24 hrs..

Ya Lar.. Its this guy or.. wear until like burgler like that and sat on top of the exit door dunno for wat.. If am not wrong, i think the next time u visit this outlet, he maybe still sitting up there..

So sat down ordered drinks and fries again.. 唉呀 ! (Round 3 liao hor)....

ZZZZZ...... Swear never dream of MAC.....

Then came Sunday moning, Ting said she wanted Hotcakes as breakfast and off i am to MAC again... Arrgh..... (Round 4)

This time we went to the one in Jurong West.. I left them in MAC and went for a walk in the market myself.. Brought some frozen 糯米饭 for Ting to eat after school cos she commented that the 糯米饭 very nice..

Saw the prawns very fresh and cheap also.. Brought half a kg to make drunken prawns for Qi.. so dun say i not fair always sayang Ting only..

They had tuition at my place and after tuition, i made the prawns for them with cuttlefish balls and hash browns.. Ah mei jie jie came over to join us also..

then hor.. i backside itchy said go West Coast park play play since tomor school re-open, they have to study again.. so they agreed and we went...

The place was packed with kids..

Took some pics while they were having fun trying out the adventure playground, fitness corner, exercise garden (including a chess garden, foot reflexology facilities and bird cage trellis) grand lawn, sand play area...

Tot of taking them for 1 more short walk round the park befire we head home and who know... "faster, faster bring me go toilet... going to PS liao..." Aiyoh.. wat a way to end the last 2 days of the school holidays..

Sentosa - Sky Ride and Luge

Sentosa Outing on 18 June 2007 with a bunch of wonderful kids ......... :)

We decided to make a trip to Sentosa basically school holidays are gonna be over.. So i took my off day and decided to brave the sun and off we go to the island across..

We got a lift from Linda and Benn to Vivo City where we took the Sentosa Express..

They complained of hunger and we ended up at Carl Jr's for burger.. and guess wat, the burgers were really hugh and expensive lor.. The lunch with 2 of us sharing a burger and only 2 drinks to share among all of us, 1 serving of fries and onions rings.. and the whole meal cost us a whopping $35-00

The Sentosa Express station is situated on the 3rd level of Vivo City beside the main entrance of Food Republic.. Each ticket cost $3-00

There are only 3 stations there and only the last 2 are opened so we decided to alight at the beach station..

The seats are limited but luckily the journey lasted for less than 5 mins and luckily the weather is not that hot that day, we decided to go for the Sky ride and the Luge first..

It was fun choosing and trying on the safety helmet to see it fits and had fun laughing at how each other looked with the helmet on..

This time round, i didnt go on the ride as i need to keep an eye on Dexter who the last time i heard cried when he gone up the ride so err.. better be safe so i choose to stay on the ground with him..

The queue was ok, not too long waiting, the ride up hill is a bit scary for me though the last time.. but i can see the whole gang really excited this time, deciding who and who will go on first etc..

蒲田菜馆 at Vivo City - Part 2

So am back to blog about the dishes that was served in 蒲田..

We ordered 菊花茶 over chinese tea which cost $1-00 a glass and its refillable.. then while waiting for the food, i started snapping pic of the menu..

Then i waited patiently for the food to be served.. Service is ok except its during dinner time and am quite suprise the place was still quite packed at at around 8pm or perhaps its friday ba..

first came the roasted chicken, its half a small chicken size.. the skin are crispy and am not sure if those are basil or curry leaves but it tasted very fragrant when i had a bite of it.. and those cereal lookalike are actually garlic bits that have been fried till very crispy and fragrant.. and the best things is it doesnt leaves the "garlicky" smell..

I have always love food cook in 药材.. so this 药材虾 in 竹筒 came as a nice suprise to me cos the soup is light and clear and it actually have wolf berries and 当归 in the soup.. the prawns are medium size and fresh.. about 5 of them.. Nice nice..

The soup are actually kept warm in the bamboo container so not to be afraid if you eat drink the soup later after the main dish..

Not sure if you can see wat is this.. its actualy beancrd skin (腐皮 or 豆枝) with kai lan (芥兰) underneath and covered with a starch like gravy with baby corn, straw mushroom and carrots.. Simple dish with a good combination of soft (beancurd skin) and crunchy ( kai lan 芥兰)..

I tot i tasted a bit of sweetness in the beancurd skin and thus the slight bitterness of the kai lan goes well with the beancurd skin..

There comes the fried 兴化米粉 which i chose over 卤面.. the
卤面 is not the black climy kind of noodles we find in out food centre but its more like our 幼面 at the 手工面 stalls and the colour is not black at all.. The 米粉 unlike the kind we find in our dishes, its extremly fine and smells good after frying with vegetables, onions and clams.. garnished with deep fried seaweed and peanuts.. tasted like our 新洲米粉 except its better..

And this is the recommeded dish by Elicia, its actually the "See Hum" or 蚶 which we normally find in Char Kway Teow and our Laksa.. In this rest, they removed only one side of the shell and have this sause which made up of minced garlic and chilli with vineger and soya sauce and top it up with more minced garlic and shallots..

And mind you, the taste and smell of garlic is gonna linger in your taste buds for err.. longer time..

The desserts i think is white fungus ( 白木耳) boiled in rock sugar with 连子.. The soup is a bit slimy perhaps being cooked in bulk and left to refrigerate for a long time thus it turn slimy.. but overall, i thinks its still ok la..

Pu Tien Restaurant 127-129 Kitchener Road Tel 6295 6358 that's the original place.. and they have a outlet in Vivo City level 3 in the "Food Republic" food court..

Have heard about this rest for quite a while, Elicia told me the food there is good so that day i finally had a chance to try it out..

So i went with the intention of trying out the "recommended" dish by Elicia, we went to the one situated on the 3rd level of Vivo and its in "Food Republic" just bcos i work in Vivo.. Yah.. Give in to me again.. the place was kinda packed, and there were 2 couples b4 us.. They were being asked to make their order first while waiting in the queue.. I didnt wanna do that and thus i suggested to the manager to take down my no and call me when there's a available table for us..

So i went out to walk but alas, most of the seats have been taken up (cos Friday), didnt all the pple flocked to St James meh ??? anyway we ended up in "Toast Box" to take a drink while waiting.. and my friend mistook my "coffee" for "Tea".... :(( those who know me well, knew i dun take milk tea mah.. anyway, i drank up the cup also lah..

after finishing my drink, i offered to check why i took so long to call me i walked backed to 蒲田, then i saw there wasnt any queue and the manager obviously dun recognise me when i "LOOK" at him lor..

Me : 你忘記我了 ?

Him : 对不起, 对不起..

Him :来来来..这里有位,这里坐..

Me : 我不管, 你要请我吃甜品..

Him : 可以没问题 !!

So we got our window seat and went looked thru the menu.. Hmm.. most dishes looked good in the menu and after a discussion, we decided on the set menu for 4 dishes plus 1 dessert that cost us $28-00.. Ah! b4 i forget, we ordered the "recommended" dish as well..

After making the order, the manager dropped by to make sure we are ok and he mentioned that since dessrt is included in our set meal, he will give the "recommended" dish to us for free.. Hmm.. not bad, not bad.. good PR skills..

Woke up purposely to walk around the area near the hotel i stayed in 尖沙嘴, there are a few stalls selling the 经济米粉 and auto 加料 like putting 1 whole chunk of 豆芽on top of the 米粉 or 面.. and including a cup of beverage or 豆奶 cost me around HK12 (SGD2 plus) so cheap and filling... they offer a variety of porriage as well.. and yah.. they sell this 猪肠粉 with 烧卖 also HK12 and come with a drink also.. and they put this soya sauce and sesame sause.. grounded sesame on top on the 猪肠粉.. tot its kinda funny as we are used to the 甜酱 here.. I brought back to the hotel and tried it.. Taste good le.. Must tell Jas to try it out when she visit HK..

and then i went to their supermarket just to walk about.. saw they stock mostly like wat our ntuc does so i went to the rack where they have the instant noodles and stuffs..

They sell alot of 出前一丁 brand of instand noodles but after much choosing and putting back.. hee hee i decided on the brand "公仔面" which once u mentioned it pple in HK will know its instant noodles u talking abt.. which is equivalent to "maggi mee" here in sg..

and i bought this Knorr brand of spagetti and macaroni.. i have tried cooking these two and i have posted the pics here.. the spagetti is quite soft and after mixing it with the packet of seasoning the colour look like faded tomato ketchup.. i thinki didnt drianed out the spagetti enuf.. the macaroni tasted quite nice.. maybe i can try adding veg or fish to it..

Jas asked me abt what nice food i have tasted in HK, perhaps in my next blog i will try and find the pic of the rest and great tasting snack i have tried to share..

Today my sweet tooth 发作.. and since the weather seems to be like so hot.. i tot why not make the above cos Jas and Aunty like to drink.. so i woke up and tok tok tok the 白果 and then peel peel peel and chop chop chop the 马蹄 so got something to crunch crunch abt..

Then i went out for shopping.. came back and ucsy cooking and boilding until abt 9 plus.. hee hee.. then decide to put this in my blog..

Actually tasted quite yummy.. 清清淡淡 and cantonese like me believe this dessert can beautify our complexion..

Went out in the afternoon, went ot Isetan cos i knew someone working there.. Havent been to Orchard for a long time during weekends.. most of my time are spent in Vivo.. :P.. Vivo is becoming my new home practically..

My colleague shared this with me today.. I read it and tot of posting it here to share the story.. I didnt know how to make the pic bigger so it visable but anyway i can forward a copy to those who wants to read it..

Its about a blind girl who have only a loving boyfriend and she promised to marry her boyfriend only if she can see again..

The boyfriend gave her his eyes and when she could see agin and when she was told her boyfriend was blind too, she detested him and left him..

This is how humans change when their status changes, onli few remembers what life was before, and who has always been there in the most painful situation...

Is this how love is ? Very depressing right.. It qould have broke my heart into million pieces if i were the boyfriend.. giving up my vision so my love one can see the world and marry me.. ended up 嫌弃 me for being blind.. not blind also i would cry until i become blind also..

Look at her lor... So Cute rite.. Cannot take it.. Feel like pinching her cheeks.. This is my bao bei, her name is Jeraldyn Foo, the daughter of my buddy, Jasmine.

Jeraldyn just celebrated her first birthday 2 weeks back.. I missed her birthday bbq as i was away in HK.. Bought her a rocking horse from Toys R Us after i saw her riding it in one of her pic.. and please Jas mummy, please explain to Jeraldyn aunty elaine's present is on its way.. aunty elaine didnt forget her birthday.. her present is still sitting in my living room waiting for Jas to drop by my place..

I remembered Jas being pregnant just the year before, then gave birth to Jeraldyn in May 06. I went to her mum's place where she did her confinement and carried the tiny baby in my arms and oh my goodness, now she is already 1 years old.. How times flies...

Dinner at Sushi Don

Went for a dinner gathering at "Sushi Don" in Bras Basah Road, Rendevous Hotel just now.. This time round Ah Hoong and Serina couldnt make it.. Ah Hoong got things to attend to and poor Serina's kid got sore eyes..

I reached there abt 730pm after rushing from Vivo by cab.. See girls, how sincered i am..

I was wondering will i get shot if i ordered other than Jap food.. since its a Jap rest and i was thinking of ordering Tom Yum Seafood Noodle.. Haha.. Seems like not onli me was thinking of that.. Chui Lan and Wai Phooi ordered Thai and Korean as well.. Look at my Tom Yum Seafood Noodle (Guo Tiao).. Tasted ok la.. But the sidedish that came with it.. Deep fried chicken wings more yummy.. Boneless and the chille sause is sweet and tasty.. Goes well with the chicken wings..

The rest had sushi, and bento set.. Nice dinner, prices reasonable.. We had ice cream for dessert.. Brownie with Vanilla ice cream and we ordered Mango with Sesame ice cream and Green Tea and Sesame ice cream.. Combination quite weird but yummy lei..

We chatted and update each other abt our lifes then decide to call it a day at around 10.. Tired liao everyone.. and we made plans for next outing in Vivo City..

Gary's birthday dinner at "Kim Gary's" at Vivo City

Our Brother, Gary Chua...

We met up at Vivo for Gary's birthday dinner tonite.. Very touching cos they came all the way to Vivo for my convenience.. Gary, Jas, Candy and brother Kian Leong.. and yah.. Jas was kinda busy a work cos Candy and Gary were off today.. I onli managed to buy the birthday card and cake after work while they waited for me in Kim Gary's.. hee hee.. and write the card in front of the birthday boy somemore..

We waited for Kian Leong to arrive while we chatted and checking on the menu wat to eat.. I ordered rice same with Gary and brother while Jas had this spicy korean noodle that looked real red and spicy with cut chilli floating on the soup.. and not to mentioned in a BIG bowl.. Brother said they served the noodles in a 盆.. Candy oredered bake rice that came served in a steamed bamboo container those used for tim sum..

But Jas said its not spicy at all.. but she did asked for ice water after eating..

After makaning, we brought out the cake, I bought the cake from BreadTalk (too little time to source for others).. a small cake for the 5 of us to 解决 all at one go.. Nice looking cake.. I asked for 2 big candles and 9 small ones.. Gary is 29 this year (oops..) and look at how nice the cake looked when its being lighted up.. Gary, you can show this to your friend..

So we wanted to "ka chao" him by singing the birthday song loud loud jsut to malu him.. Very funny lor.. Gary kinda 不好意思 and his face always turn red when he pai sey.. haha..

I felt pai sey they came all the way to Vivo for me so i treated then for kopi at Ya Kun in Food Republic on the 3rd level.. Great time for bonding while we chatted over tea c 冰, kopi O and kopi.. Aiyah, i was saying wat if i cant sleep after drinking kopi ha.. so, update my blog lor.. I still dun feel sleepy yet le.. (12:44am).. 吃力 liao lor..

And yup, we gave Gary his present there in Ya Kun.. a tie, cuff links and a cardholder.. all thanks to Jas buying them over the weekend at Robinsons.. We told Gary he had to wear the tie and use the cuff links on his first day of his new job.. Will see, will see..

Am really glad i have this bunch of great frens.. We celebrated each other's birthday, mostly just coming out for makan and even though we dun meet often, the bond is there.. Am gald brother and Gary have got themselves better opportunity to further their career while we gals still stay on and work our ass off.. 大家好好加油..

So all, please make it a point to be available when we have such gathering next time... Its a rare chance that colleagues like us can become true frens.. So we better 珍惜这份难得的缘分..

Chicken Soup

Was blogging i wasnt feelin good before .. So i was checking out my freezer and found a chicken drumstick and my 药材 (all thanks to my late mum who used to stock up 药材 all safetly tucked in the fridge) waiting for a rainy day like this..

After i thawed the chicken, i blanched the chicken in hot water, this will make my soup clear and not filled with some gooey stuff floating while cooking and the trouble to scoope out as and when..

See how clean the chccken looked after blanching ? I boiled the soup for about half and hour then using slow fire i boiled it further with chinese mushroom (Astro Boy love 香菇汤)

Drinking a boil of hot chicken soup on a sicked day is like having someone hug you closely and sayanging you telling you everythin is gonna be ok.. aiyah, 要痛哭流泪了..

Astro Boy

Astro boy send me a sms while i was in HK last week, i didnt save Astro boy's new hp no cos i never tot i had wanted to continue to keep in touch.. So i was kinda like i "knew" it was Astro boy even the no is not familiar to me..

Astro boy fell sicked, seen doc twice and still not well yet.. Well, i fell sicked too b4 my trip to HK, lost my voice etc.. and worse of all spilled my cough mixture on my way back.. :(

Astro boy's immune system is weak.. sure to fall sick if ever got caught in the rain.. I mean Astro boy is the kind tat is tall, well build (last time la).. Used to fall sick often, but hmm hmm.. after my "精心调养 " by cooking some "homecook" lunches.. seemed like never fall sick that often (aiyah.. pai sey, i think so myself onli la) but anyway.. Its kinda sad that i used to get Astro boy size L , now size M t-shirt , hopefully,wont have to get size S.. The last time i met Astro boy 毫无脸色.. See also 心酸..

But the saddest part is, after 2 sms, no response again.... :(

Met Steve after work yesterday.. Very sweet of him to offer to send me home even he already send me to work.. and had breakfast with me as well.. Met his frens, Alan and Linda.. Nice couple, friendly and def want to get to know them better.. but must learn to play mahjong first..

Told Steve it ok cos he will be going to Alan's place in Seragoon for a "session" after he sent me home in Jur East.. Aiyoh, to and fro waste so much time den how to win their money to buy x-box??? So i very sweet la, told him i will go back by myself.. Hope they like the donuts i told Steve to bring along.. hmm.. must definately hang out with them more..

Tot of checking out the the GSS in Vcy.. Saw some nice merchandise but after disount still abit ex lei.. anyway i have bought some items from my trip to HK so i tot better not buy anymore.. so i ended up walking around browsing while i saw this err.. i dun know who she is or wat she is.. (see pic)

I was trying to take a pic of her while the guy version of this character came up behind me and gave me a fright.. I act cool and told "him" i onli wanted pic of "her".. hee hee.. nice way to hide my "pai sayness rite".. so i took her pic and now looking at her.. she's kinda remind me of marilyn monroe is it ??? or some new cartoon character from "cartoon network" ?? anyway..

I walk on and saw this exhibition and tot this car is cool.. Took the pic from the 2nd floor while i heard Najib Ali's voice.. think he must be the emcee of the event.. but my view was blocked and cant see wat was happening..

Went into Tangs.. and was checking out the bags when i heard Tim Sum Dollies singing.. TIM SUM DOLLIES ?? They are my fav ok.. Damm funny group.. So i walk up and i really saw them.. Took out my camera and den their session was over !!! AIYAH.. WASTED MAN.. really kek sim le.. or else i can post the pic here for Jas to see.. Arrgh.. heard their show is coming up, must jio Jas to go and watch..

My HK Trip

Just came back from HK 2 days ago.. Really a nice trip after 10 years.. The last time i visited HK was to attend Kent and Wendy's wedding.. This time am glad to see Sunny and his wife, Joyce and of cos Sammy too.. All my old old frens from HK..

And Yah.. Disneyland.. Got lots of pics to share.. I will post them online once i arranged them..

Tried some real nice HK food.. especially my 燉奶 from the 澳洲牛奶公司 in 佐敦.. Tasted reaaaaaaaal gooooood man.. I have to ask Wendy to teach me.. The one i tried had almond taste cos i dun like milk.. Its yellow in colour.. the texture is soo smooth that i basically miss it once i left the shop.. and i vow if i ever get to visit HK again.. this is the place i will visit no matter wat..

The shop sells mostly light snacks like breakfast set that comes with a plate of macaroni with ham strips, sunny side up egg or scrambled egg with 2 piece of thick toast and a drink i think.. and this set cost only HK22 (abt SGD4 plus) and of cos my 燉奶...
